Trefriw Woollen Mills

Our heritage tweeds are woven in herringbone and houndstooth designs and are ideal for garments and soft furnishings (but not upholstery).

 

Our tweeds are blended from several colours of dyed raw wool to give a heathery effect, for example magenta, turquoise and white to make Sweet Pea (in TW5) and yellow, green and black to make Siabod (in TW1).

 

The wool is carded (untangled), spun and woven here in Trefriw and is available by the metre, as skirt lengths, made up as cushions or as one-size wrap-around ruanas.
