Current hours: Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5.30 p.m.

Our shop is open all year: Monday – Saturday except for Winter Bank Holidays and Good Friday.

We are OPEN Easter Monday, Spring and Summer Bank Holidays.

The turbine house and weaving shed can be visited during shop hours. You can see the Dobcross looms where we weave our traditional Welsh bedspreads and the turbine which generates our electricity.

Welsh Bedspread Single

We purchased the bedspread throw for the settee and the single bedspread for our North American Queen bed (which fit exactly as specified) because we love the Welsh tapestry design. After some confusion about the location of the blankets during the delivery process and subsequent concerned emails to Elaine Williams for help, she was able to sort out the location and provide tracking info for us so we were able to collect them and bring them to our home here in rural BC. We love the craftsmanship, the quality, the heavier weight of the double weave, and the classic Welsh tapestry design. These wool blankets are simply gorgeous works of art!
